For the past seventeen years he has collaborated with researchers, academics, First Nations knowledge holders, community organisations, and the GLAM sector (galleries, libraries, archives, and museums) on digital collections and public history projects. A sought-after <a href=\"https:\/\/mikejonesonline.com\/presentations.html\">speaker<\/a> in Australia and internationally, he has made substantial contributions to the GLAM sector, digital humanities, and history as a writer, presenter, committee member, teacher, and mentor.<br><br>Mike&#8217;s interdisciplinary <a href=\"https:\/\/mikejonesonline.com\/publications.html\">research<\/a> explores the history of archives, museums, and collections-based knowledge, with a particular focus on the ways in which contemporary technologies can better support relationships within and between archives, museums, disciplines, and communities. He is particularly interested in the potential for this work to improve wellbeing for First Nations and other communities, foster social diversity and cohesion, and contribute to social justice.<\/span><br><br><span style=\"color: #3f3f3f; font-size: large;\">In addition to his academic work, Mike is also an experienced practitioner.
